RMG Electrical, Inc. was built on a simple idea: do excellent electrical work, treat people right, and back it up every time. For more than 30 years we’ve served Houston’s commercial, industrial, and OEM clients — from single-fixture lighting jobs to complete electrical installations and custom control panels.

Led by founder Robert Garrett, our crews bring deep experience with the demanding, high-stakes electrical work that keeps buildings and production lines running. We’re large enough to take on serious projects and small enough that you’ll always talk to people who know your job.

President

Robert M. Garrett

Robert M. Garrett is the President of RMG Electrical, Inc., a licensed and insured commercial and industrial electrical contractor specializing in the wiring and automation of industrial equipment. A Master Electrician with more than 40 years of experience, Robert has dedicated his entire career to the electrical industry, building a reputation for quality workmanship, technical expertise, and dependable service.

An expert in industrial automation for both hazardous and non-hazardous locations, Robert has worked alongside numerous OEM manufacturers, providing electrical design, installation, troubleshooting, and field support. His expertise has taken him around the world—including multiple projects in Saudi Arabia—helping customers keep critical operations running safely and efficiently.

Robert holds Houston Master Electrician License #722 and Texas Master Electrician License #11248. He is a longtime member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC), the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC), and several community organizations.

At RMG Electrical, quality has always come before quantity. Robert believes that staying intentionally small allows the company to provide the personal attention and attention to detail customers deserve, while maintaining the experience and capabilities to successfully complete large and complex industrial projects.

Outside of work, Robert has long supported charitable organizations and local youth programs, believing that giving back to the community is just as important as serving customers. His commitment to integrity, craftsmanship, and lasting relationships continues to be the foundation of RMG Electrical, Inc.

Christian M. Garrett

Electrical contracting isn’t just my profession—it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family built around the electrical trade gave me the opportunity to learn the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and doing every job the right way.

Throughout my childhood, I had the privilege of watching my father, Robert Garrett, owner of RMG Electrical, build his reputation through honesty, dedication, and an unmatched work ethic. Seeing firsthand the sacrifices he made and the pride he took in every project taught me what true leadership and commitment look like. Those lessons continue to guide me every day.

I began working as an electrical apprentice at just 15 years old and have spent my career gaining hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, hazardous, and non-hazardous electrical installations. Every step of my journey has reinforced the importance of safety, quality, and building lasting relationships with our clients.

Today, I proudly serve as the Vice President and Head Project Manager of RMG Electrical. My focus is on delivering exceptional service, leading our team with integrity, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

As RMG Electrical continues to grow, I remain committed to expanding our capabilities, strengthening our reputation, and building a company that our employees, customers, and community can depend on. My goal is to honor the legacy my father built while helping lead RMG Electrical into an even stronger future.

Casey Rump

Over the past 12 years, Casey built his management expertise in the service industry, working with and leading teams daily to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Ready for a new challenge, he transitioned into the industrial side of the trades, bringing his leadership and communication skills to support project success from within the office. Though the shift hasn't been easy, Casey's commitment and determination have fueled his continued growth in his role as RMG's Office Administrator.
