Project Walkthrough

The homeowner's existing Federal Pacific breaker box and overhead power feed no longer met NEC and NFPA code requirements. Full permitting was required, and a complete service upgrade was requested by the end customer before generator installation could proceed.

The new underground feeder required breaking concrete and trenching through both the customer's yard and the neighboring backyard property. Speed, quality, and timely completion for inspection and concrete repour were the highest priority throughout this phase.

New breaker box and Generac transfer switch installed. A key challenge: current NEC standards requiring Arc Fault (AFCI) and GFCI type breakers created compatibility issues with the home's existing wiring, requiring quick on-site troubleshooting to restore full power without issue.

Fully functional and 100% tested GENERAC generator, installed, leveled, and ready to protect this homeowner from outages both short-term and long-term due to inclement weather.
